Construction Project Manager

AB Capstone is a fast growing, vertically integrated real estate company with expertise in investment, development, and construction of residential and commercial projects. We are a team of dedicated real estate professionals committed to utilizing innovative design strategies to build quality properties. Over the last decade, AB Capstone and its affiliates have been involved in over 1.0MM SF of ground-up development and value-add real estate projects. Currently, our team is looking for a Construction Project Manager who will be responsible for coordinating the construction of AB Capstone properties from start to finish in a timely and cost-effective manner. We’re looking for an individual who can successfully perform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with the aptitude to effectively learn from our team and help us obtain project goals.

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the project moves forward in a timely, cost-effective manner, coordinating changes and adjustments as necessary.
  • Maintain project documents and drawing logs, keeping track of all project revisions.
  • Manage project invoices, coordinating with project accountants.
  • Perform material takeoffs from drawings and material qualifications from specifications and other contract documents.
  • Coordinate project deliverables, purchasing, and procurement.
  • Read and interpret construction plans and drawings to determine project details and specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors on site.
  • Manage submittals, process RFIs and requisitions.
  • Develop status reports and assist in status communication.
  • Draft work schedules.

Job Qualifications

  • Must be organized, reliable, highly productive, and efficient.
  • Must be a multi-tasker with great attention to detail.
  • Must be a critical thinker, exercising sound judgment to make difficult decisions.
  • Must have great interpersonal and communication skills to successfully deal with internal and external business associates.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Project). PlanGrid experience preferred.

Experience: Must have 5-10 years of related work experience in the construction industry. 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field. A degree in Construction Management, Architecture, or Engineering is preferred.

This is a full-time position.
